MANCHESTER VT COMMUNITY JEWISH DAY CAMP
August 1 - 5 (9-3pm)
Ages 4 - 10
A one-week Jewish day camp has been finalized. Depending on the weather, the kids will spend a couple of days at ICM for cooking projects & other indoor activities (and using ICM's outdoor space as well), and 2 or 3 days at Earth Sky Time farm. It will be an Israel-themed week. Activities will include an archaeological dig, Israeli folk dancing, mini Macabiah games, Israeli cooking, Hebrew language & songs, group games, arts & crafts, learning about Jewish history through Israel, agriculture and the environment, Shabbat on the last day, and more.

The leader will be Rachel Raz, who is the head of childhood education at Hebrew College in Boston. Her assistant leader will be her college-age daughter Dahlia, who is a musician and visual artist, with extensive experience teaching children. Our local teen helpers (so far) will be Emet Koffman and Evan Kozierok.

The cost is projected to be $200 for the first child in each family, and $180 for each additional child. Costs may be lower if more children sign up, allowing us to spread the costs among more families.

For more info contact Nina Wugmeister here.
The Temple is very grateful for all the donations we receive, we couldn't do what we do without your generosity!
