Act now to get your R&R Raffle Tickets

The countdown has begun for this year's R&R Raffle. Winning tickets for the prizes will be drawn Tuesday, May 26. Click here to buy your raffle tickets online and to check out the great lineup of prizes. The annual R&R Raffle is a crucial fundraiser for our Research and Restoration projects, which include our long-term water-quality monitoring. Three new data collection stations are being installed this year, and we hope to raise at least $50,000 to pay for the equipment, installation, maintenance, and data collection.

HFF-Hosted Trips:
Get a LOOP Reel for Signing Up Early

Sign up now for an HFF-hosted fishing trip and qualify for your choice of LOOP Evotec G4 reels that can handle a 3-weight up to a 13-weight line. Retail value up to $559.

HFF has worked with each destination lodge to ensure that a percentage of each trip is donated back to the Foundation. You not only build lasting relationships with those on the trip, but you are also directly giving back to the Foundation. PLUS if you reserve your spot by the deadlines, you'll receive your choice of reels.

The early-bird deadline for the Grand Slam Lodge and Patagonia River Ranch trips is June 1 to qualify for the LOOP Evotec reel. Check out our website for a complete list of trips, costs, and deadlines.

Introducing Penelope May Cahoon

Meet our sweet hatchling: Penelope May Cahoon, daughter of Matt and Paige Cahoon. Penny May was born a bit ahead of schedule on April 29, weighing in at 5 lbs., 13 oz. Mom is development coordinator for HFF, organizing all our events, producing the promotional materials, gathering auction items, and managing social media.

Paige will be leaving the Foundation this fall when Matt starts his new job as an Idaho Fish and Game conservation officer in Challis, Idaho. Paige's successor has been hired and will start work June 1. She is Kristen Widdison of Rexburg.

About HFF

Over the winter, the mouse-inhabited cave at the back of the office was cleaned out and remodeled for use as a laboratory for our research programs.

We now have stainless steel sinks, work counters, storage space, and a clean work environment for staff and interns to work on water samples and other assignments.

And no more mice.

Henry's Fork Days Set  for the Weekend After Opening

It's a big weekend for the Henry's Fork Foundation, staging its premier event--Henry's Fork Days--less than a week after fishing opens on The Ranch. We'll start Saturday, June 20, by serving breakfast on the river ($10 per person), then finish that evening by presenting our annual service awards, holding our live auction, and raffling off a Hyde Drift Boat.

The annual reception begins at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday along with the silent auction featuring art, jewelry, fishing gear, trips, and lots more. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Get your tickets for dinner early. Click here for tickets. The silent auction closes at 7:00 p.m., and the live auction begins. The evening culminates with the Hyde Drift Boat raffle drawing.
