Fifteen to twenty years ago work took place in an office in an office building or at a location.

In those years, I was one of the few people that I knew who worked in airports, hotels, and other non-conventional places. The traditional work place has changed!

Sports teams are a metaphor for what goes on in most corporations. Take, for example, the Calgary Flames. The team has become complacent and stale. How do we know? The team has not made the playoffs going on four years and the last year they were Stanley Cup contenders was 2004, a full nine years ago. Was the writing on the wall for retooling or rebuilding? Yes! Was anything done? Not really.

What has been the final outcome of that inaction? Marque players, with no-trade contracts, are suddenly being dealt...
