Greetings!

After a long winter season, spring has sprung at the CBU office! No thanks to Punxsutawney Phil's miscalculation of the weather. Spring has brought new ideas, connections, and opportunities to Combined Benefits United.

In this e-Newsletter, we discuss our April 3rd WNIC Voluntary Benefits, I.U.L., and GTL- Critical Care Training. We will also highlight Foresters list bill opportunities, upcoming Business Builder Seminars, ways to get involved with APW University, and the Dale Carnegie Maine 7-up Challenge. We continue to implement systems for our agents, while focusing on leadership, knowledge, and tools to thrive in today's business world.

Dale Carnegie Maine Presents 7-Up Challenge
Secrets to Success

Get Up

Get out of bed before anyone else. Getting up 30 minutes earlier every day gives you 16 extra selling days a year!

Suit Up

Dress to look, sound, and feel your best. This includes Why risk a poor first impression?

Show Up

The average sales person barely works on Monday and Friday. Just showing up will put you 40% ahead.

Read Up

30 minutes a day will make you an expert. In a year, that's about 125 hours -- on average what it takes to get an Bachelor's degree

Dial Up

Commit to a number of dials every day, and then raise it. Next to face-to-face, the phone is still your most effective and efficient selling tool.

Put Up

Endure the challenges and then put your sales numbers on the board.   Seeing your numbers can motivate you to drive for the top of the list.

Pump Up

Positive Self Talks will program your subconscious mind. Try the Interrogative self talk; turn a pep talk into a question
