Greetings!
February marks a true annual American tradition... the Superbowl. We all watch the game, maybe some of us just for the commercials, even if our team did not quite make the cut. It is a tradition that has brought Americans together since 1967. As this year's Superbowl XLVII season comes to a close, Combined Benefit's United celebrates new success too! In this February e-newsletter, we discuss new opportunities to earn three FREE CE credits, the addition of OneAmerica to the CBU products mix, our February 27th Business After Hours event, List Bill for Foresters, and the sales tip of the month. Game on! |

Creating a Positive Productive Environment
Kevin Frisbie, Manager of the Senior Division
and Court of the Table - Million Dollar Round Table Qualifier
The business of sales is as much a mental game as anything could be. Top agents in our field figure out how to channel the positive energy while limiting the negative. One way this can be done is when you have a day when everything seems to be going in your favor, and you've made some sales and had some successful calls....
DON'T STOP!
I've seen many times when a person will make a sale, sit back to admire the deed, and worse yet, then spend the commission from that sale before making another sale. Something that seperates the good from the great in sales, is the great keep selling when people are buying. There is positive energy put out from the planner that creates a buying environment for the potential client.
For seminar agents, one of the critical times to create positive momentum is the day after the seminar when you're making follow-up phone calls. Take the time in between seminar attendee calls to call on the warm leads that have been sitting on your desk. You are in a positive frame of mind and it's an ideal time to book other appointments. Potential clients can feel and sense the positive vibes you put out over the phone. It's a time to take advantage of these moments to get things done.
At the end of the day it comes down to the old farmers saying that
"The time to make hay is while the sun is shining"
Take this sales tip, use it, and we'll see you at the top! |
