Greetings:
This Sunday begins the first week in our study of Mark, and we will be talking about the Baptism of Jesus. Our text is Mark 1:1-11. Jesus was intentional about beginning his public ministry by coming to his cousin, John, to be baptized. Join us on Sunday as we remember our baptism, our identity and how we have been claimed by God. Blessings, Beth

Bring the whole family, children are welcome and for only 30 minutes once a month come sing together with the residents of several area assisted living facilities. Come join the fun! Contact Laurie Purcell for locations and times at laurie.purcell@strawbridge-umc.org
ONLINE SHOPPING-www.umcmarket.org
Lots of online retailers will give a percentage of your purchase to
Strawbridge UMC through the UMCmarket! All you need to do is visit www.umcmarket.org and register. Specify the church, "Kingwood Strawbridge". Then when you're ready to buy, just log into your UMCmarket account and shop at any of the partner retailers and, PRESTO, a percentage of the sale is given to the church. We need $100 in the account before we get a check, so the more the site is used the more the church benefits.
Shopping has never been so easy and you don't have to leave home, fight the crowds or find that perfect parking spot!
