Greetings:

Todd JordanAs we continue our worship series on Peace, we look this week at what it takes to establish and maintain peace in our relationships.  We were made for relationships, but in our sin and disobedience, we struggle with how to connect with one another in safe, healthy ways.  Is there a secret to relational peace, or are we simply doomed to a life of conflict and alienation?  Join me this Sunday as we examine the pitfalls and the possibilities of human relationships, and discover what God has in mind for us as found in Ephesians 4:25-32.

Dr. Todd Jordan

ONLINE SHOPPING-www.umcmarket.org
Lots of online retailers will give a percentage of your purchase to
Strawbridge UMC through the UMCmarket! All you need to do is visit www.umcmarket.org and register. Specify the church, "Kingwood Strawbridge".  Then when you're ready to buy, just log into your UMCmarket account and shop at any of the partner retailers and, PRESTO, a percentage of the sale is given to the church. We need $100 in the account before we get a check, so the more the site is used the more the church benefits.

The plans are ready and the materials are
delivered.  It is time to get to work on the Habitat for Humanity 2016 Build, in honor of Howard Deterding and his cherished commitment to Habitat. Saturday January 23rd will be the Wall Raising!  This year we are building a house for Kristen

There are many ways to  help, from construction,
painting, cleaning, food preparation and even quilting a new quilt for the homeowner to leave them with a
further blessing from Strawbridge.  On Saturday we need 20 volunteers, work then continues on alternating Saturdays. Come on out and continue a great
Strawbridge tradition of service!
