Greetings:

Todd Jordan
The book of Acts recounts an amazing time in the life of the church.  Disciples frequently displayed mighty deeds of power, thousands were cut to the heart by a single sermon, and the church bore witness to Christ in such a way that the Spirit added to their numbers daily with the goodwill of the people.  We believe the Spirit is still at work in our church today, and that we are called by grace to the same power and practice exhibited by the first century Christians.

During the month of October we will be celebrating Stewardship by focusing on the way we support Strawbridge with our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service and our witness.  The sermons during the month will focus on the Power and Practice of the Early Church as found in Acts 2:37-47.  I invite you to join me this Sunday for week 1 of our series and examine the Power of Prayer.

New Church Buses

Please welcome the newest additions to our church
facility: 2 brand new 15-passenger church buses with one of them equipped for wheel-chair accessibility.  As our age-level programs have increased in numbers, so has our need for safe, reliable transportation.   Thanks to the overwhelming and generous response to our capital campaign, we were able to purchase not 1 but 2 buses which are available for children, youth, seniors, mission teams, and any other church group ready to bring God's word out into the world.  Thank you for all the ways you support our church, and pray we continue to be blessed to be a blessing!
