Greetings:

The Greek word chara appears no fewer than 59 times in the New Testament-obviously it is an important concept for the writers.  Usually translated as "joy", Paul lists it as the second of the Fruit of the Spirit.  It is critical to life in the Spirit and the living out of our faith. Yet, life too often gets in the way and joy frequently escapes us. How do we identify it, carry it and express it in a way that leads us and others closer to God's Kingdom?  Join me this Sunday as we explore the gift of joy and how it might grow deeper and broader from within us.

Dr. Todd Jordan

Senior Pastor

Acolytes Needed! As we begin a new school year, acolytes and cross bearers are needed for each worship service. This service opportunity is open to students in 1st-6th grade. Younger students carry in the cross, while those in 3rd-6th grade light the candles. Students typically serve 1-2 times per month. If you are interested, please email Rebecca Pubentz at [email protected] with your child's name, grade they are entering, and service you typically attend.
