Greetings:

What does it mean to be set apart? In the book of Daniel we see four men who are willing to lose everything in order to stay faithful to God. Join me on Sunday to find out how they did it, why they did it, and how their story relates to Jesus healing a woman 600 years later as well as us today.

 Give Blood

Our Summer Blood Drive will be held  Sunday, July 26th from 8:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. in the donor coach in the parking lot. If you haven't scheduled an appointment, you may donate on a "walk-in" basis and the crew will work you in as quickly as they can. The local blood supply sometimes becomes critical during the summer when many regular donors are taking vacation. Please answer the call and make a life-saving difference in as many as three lives. You'll also get a cool "Commit for Life" t-shirt when you donate this month.

Be someone's hero and be a blood donor!

Third Annual Clothing Drive for Area Schools in Need at SUMC

Help us help children have an awesome first day of school and a successful school year with gently used clothing or new clothing. The Missions Committee will provide a box in the foyer located by the coffee and donuts for your clothing donations. We are looking for pants, shorts, dresses, skirts, shirts, socks, underwear, coats, and sweaters for ages pre-K-5th grade.

We will be collecting donations the entire month of July. The area schools appreciate your donations. Over the last two years, Strawbridge has provided clothing for over 100 families in the Humble area.

For additional information please contact Cheryl Burnett at cheryldburnett@hotmail.com or Marilyn Mann at
