Todd Jordan
Greetings:

Too often we live under the oppressive notion that the end is the end. Whether the conclusion of a school year, the break-up of a close relationship, termination from a place of employment, or the loss of a dear loved one, closure and departure from what once was can bring with it a wide range of emotions like grief, fear, anxiety and pain. Yet, in any ending is at the same time the possibility for new beginnings. When Jesus boldly proclaims, "I am the resurrection and the life," he is not only claiming oneness with God, but reminding us that we worship a living God who is not limited by endings-not even death itself. And he has shown time and time again that he is more than capable of bringing hope from despair, beginnings out of endings, life from death. Join me this Sunday for a powerful word of hope from our Savior as we delve into his life-giving words found in John 11.
