Todd Jordan
Greetings:

Imagine you had the most important message in the world to be communicated but needed someone else to give it. Who would you choose? How would you teach them? And to whom would you send them? Join me this Sunday and hear more about these questions in my sermon, Who are you and what are you doing here? based on Luke 18:9-14.

Dr. Todd Jordan,

Senior Pastor

Learn more about Financial Peace University

Bill McMahon and Jennifer Lewis will have a table at the End of Summer Bash (3 to 6 pm) this Sunday with information about Financial Peace University.  Stop by and ask questions and view a video by Dave Ramsey explaining the approach.  There will also be an opportunity to purchase course materials so you will have them by the first class night on  September 7

Why is financial discipleship so important?

There are more than 800 Scriptures on money, yet many people are frustrated when it comes to their finances because they haven't learned

and applied them.

For more information, contact

Bill McMahon, or visit the  FPU Website.

Missions

August Mission Focus

Feed My Lambs is an outreach ministry supported by volunteers from local churches and service organizations. Every Tuesday and Thursday lunches are delivered to approximately 90 needy residents of White Oak Apartments in Porter.

The Strawbridge team participates on the 3rd Thursday each month. We serve the elderly and the wheelchair bound. We serve children and hard-working parents who struggle with financial issues, and we serve those who are fighting cancer and other serious ailments-all living in poverty. We deliver a nourishing brown-bag lunch along with our love and concern, letting these folks know that God loves them.

You can be a big part of this ministry-a donation of only $1 fills one lunch bag and we know you'll want to give more! If you would like help prepare and deliver lunches, please contact:

Diane McCabe at dianemccabe222@gmail.com.
