"Choose to Hope" is the title of our third sermon in our Your Place in God's Story sermon series.  The Word of God to Jacob, the Word of God to each one of us today, that brings us the hope we need which is simply this: God promises to be present with us through our trials in life. God promises to protect us in our most vulnerable times and God promises to pour out abundant blessings on our lives.  Come join us this Sunday as we find "hope" in our
                       place in God's story!

The PSPR Committee is very excited to inform you that Jon Ashley has accepted the Director of Student Ministries position at Strawbridge effective August 1st.

Jon is originally from Manchester, England but married into Texas through his wife Michelle three years ago.  Before moving to Kingwood in March, Jon served the Anglican church for three and a half years as a youth minister in a parish just outside of London.  He has a bachelor's degree in Christian Youth Work and is still convinced he'll make it as a pro soccer player someday.  In addition to soccer Jon enjoys, golf, American football and playing the guitar.
