Todd Jordan
Greetings:

This week our staff here at Strawbridge was invited (chosen) to work on the Habitat for Humanity house in Conroe.  We got to paint the storage shed and the back of the outside of the house and we managed to get most of the paint (marks) on the house instead of ourselves!  Choosing to be involved with the program and marking the house with paint gives us pause to look at my sermon topic this week of 1 Peter 2:9-10, The Marks of Being Chosen.

See you Sunday,

Dr. Todd Jordan,

Senior Pastor

Short-Term Study

"What's So Amazing About Grace?"

Following the 3 Simple Rules to do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God requires lots of Grace. This discussion based class will challenge us to look at the radical and life-changing ways that Grace finds us, and the way that its power can change our lives and the life of the church. New Daytime Summer Study

Do you have questions about God, questions about Jesus Christ, questions about the Bible?

If God is all loving and all powerful, why do people suffer?

Isn't the Bible full of contradictions? Why are there so many different interpretations?

Beginning Tuesday, June 10th at 10:00 am join us in the library for a class to discuss "Letters From A Skeptic: A son wrestles with his father's questions about Christianity" by Dr. Gregory A. Boyd.

Please sign up at the table in the hallway or by calling the church office at 281-360-4500. Child care will be provided.
