Following the 3 Simple Rules to do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God requires lots of Grace. This discussion based class will challenge us to look at the radical and life-changing ways that Grace finds us, and the way that its power can change our lives and the life of the church. 24 Hours That Changed the World

No one event in human history has received more attention than the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. Dr. Todd Jordan will lead this Lenten study of Adam Hamilton's book. The study will guide us through the last twenty-four hours of Jesus' life, and help us experience and understand the significance of Jesus' suffering and death in a way we have never done before. Whether you are a long-time Christian or simply curious about the story of Christ, you're invited to retrace the last 24 hours of Jesus' life.  

Come early for Supper at 5:30 p.m. in the Activity Center.

Rev. Emily Bankston will become Strawbridge UMC's Children's Minister effective May 1, 2014.

Rev. Bankston grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas. Emily earned her masters in Christian education from Garrett Theological Seminary and was commissioned as a Deacon in the LA UMC Conference in June 2013. Emily has one dog, Reilly, and enjoys shopping, fishing, and sports of all kinds, especially golf and basketball. She also loves missions - especially in Haiti.   

All women are invited to Mission Possible Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall. We're playing Pokeeno. Please bring: 1) Easter-theme gift under $5 to exchange, 2) adult and children's socks for our mission outreach to The Mission Northeast, and 3) a dessert to share. We will explore the World of Weird Animals and discover Jesus' love is one-of-a kind. Vacation Bible School is for Children ages 3 (as of 9/1/13) through current 5th graders. Youth and adult volunteers will be needed! Watch for more details in The Messenger.
