Following the 3 Simple Rules to do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God requires lots of Grace. This discussion based class will challenge us to look at the radical and life-changing ways that Grace finds us, and the way that its power can change our lives and the life of the church. 24 Hours That Changed the World

No one event in human history has received more attention than the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. Dr. Todd Jordan will lead this Lenten study of Adam Hamilton's book. The study will guide us through the last twenty-four hours of Jesus' life, and help us experience and understand the significance of Jesus' suffering and death in a way we have never done before. Whether you are a long-time Christian or simply curious about the story of Christ, you're invited to retrace the last 24 hours of Jesus' life.  

Come early for Supper at 5:30 p.m. in the Activity Center.

Registration for the 2014-2015 school year has begun for Strawbridge UMC members and current students. Registration will open to the community beginning March 4, 2014. Contact MaryJo at maryjo.neidinger@strawbridge-umc.org.  

Seasons of the Heart is preparing to disburse monies raised at last November's bazaar. If your group needs  funds (that are not included in your annual budget) let us know. Email Sandy at jimandsandyt@aol.com, or place your written request in the Seasons of the Heart mailbox. Please include amount requested and what it will be used for. This money is for "Wish List" items only. We will make final decisions in March, and notify all in early April. (If you were lucky recipients last year, check to see if you have used your money. Use it or lose it!)

Our next Family Promise of Lake Houston rotation is March 9-16. It is also Spring Break so lots of members will be traveling, but it is my hope that those who are in town will use this time to volunteer. Learn more at our table in the coffee corridor. Contact Corena at Lipstreuer@peoplepc.com.  

We will explore the world of Weird Animals and discover Jesus' love is one-of-a kind. Vacation Bible School is for Children ages 3 (as of 9/1/13) through current 5th graders. Youth and adult volunteers will be needed! Watch for more details in The Messenger. 

Congratulations! The Monday Morning Senior Adult Bible Study has made it all the way through the Old Testament - reading each and every word from Genesis through Malachi!  We will begin reading the New Testament Monday, March 3.
