Share God's Love - Live God's Word - Grow God's Kingdom

Todd Jordan
Dear  ,

For week two of the Transitions sermon series, my message will be "Letting Go"

(Exodus 2:1-10). If we're living, we're changing... and so is everything around us. Come (and invite your friends!) to hear how you can survive and thrive during life's transitions.

Our Souper Bowl of Caring food drive exceeded its goal! (See below.) This Sunday, you can help again (this is the really rewarding part) by loading up some food and helping to deliver it to our local food banks.

Were you here Wednesday for dinner and the beginning of the Exodus study? If not, that's okay. Come next Wednesday for a hot supper, fellowship, and my study about Moses and God's mercy.

See you Sunday,

Dr. Todd Jordan,

Senior Pastor

Be a Sexton
Join a Faithful Group

If you're looking for a way to serve, but have limited time, consider being a sexton. Strawbridge UMC sextons are a faithful group of about 8 people who open and close the church each Sunday. Four people share opening duty, and four people share closing duty, usually serving once per month. We could use another person to help with the morning openings. Contact Chuck Rollo at 281.731.2848 or email [email protected].

Around Valentines Day, love is in the air. God's love reminds us that no matter how the world may push us down, we are called, loved, cared for, respected, and held close. Alexa Garrison will bring our message.

Ladies Only
 Mission Possible Night

Ladies, come join us for our first Mission Possible night! This is a monthly game night to meet, socialize, and participate in mission outreach. We will meet at Strawbridge United Methodist Church 4th Thursdays each month, starting Thursday, February 27 at 7 p.m.

Join us for "Bubbling Over With Love" Bunco night. Bring a toiletry item to donate, an open heart, and a sense of fun! All ages are welcome and childcare will be provided. Local homeless ministries always need toiletries: soap, deodorant, wet wipes, baby powder, toothbrushes and toothpaste, feminine products, and combs and brushes.

We are open to fresh ideas for future game events and mission outreach opportunities. We are bubbling over with excitement for new friends and opportunities to serve!
