Tell us more about yourself.
Married 31 years.  I have 3 kids, 1 daughter in law, 3 grandchildren, a dog, and a cat.  I was a mom at home for 20 years, and I'm also employed at Muska Companies.

My mom was a knitter/quilter, but I was never interested - until in my 40's when my mom was in the hospital.  A stranger from her church brought her a prayer shawl - a really beautiful, soft, purple comfort piece with a little card attached saying the knitter had prayed comfort and health for the recipient.  It was such a comfort - I wanted to be able to do it myself.  At 50, I finally learned to knit and instantly (seriously) became an addict.

In Case You Missed it on Facebook

The super cute winter/holiday themed Top This sets finally arrived!  At this point, I wouldn't normally say "There's still time!", but in this case, there might be.  These cute hats knit up super quick, so pop in if you're up for it.  Plus, they aren't all Christmas themed...some work all winter.

"Do you hear the snow against the window-panes, Kitty?  How nice and soft it sounds!  Just as if some one was kissing the window all over outside." --Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There  by Lewis Caroll

The December Pack of the Month from Wonderland Yarns was delivered late last week.  Such frosty prettiness.  With each Pack of the Month shipment, our friends at Wonderland Yarns shares their favorite pattern picks for the yarn packs.  This  month for Mad Hatter, the pattern is Mad Mini Wrap.  I just might cast on this one after the holidays. Want to join me?  If Sugar on Snow isn't your cup of tea, don't worry...we have lots of color packs to choose from.

Hanging Out at Double Ewe
Come knit & crochet with us!  Work on whatever you want, no registration, no string attached, just show up.
Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 9:00
Friday afternoons, 1:30 - 5:30
Saturdays, starting at 9am, and restarting around 3pm

We gather these three time each week, however if you find yourself with some time to kill, or you just want a little escape, stop on by anytime we're open and find a spot around the coffee table.

Please note:  Open knitting is not a class.  Although we're always happy to answer questions as time permits, sometimes it gets a bit hectic.  For more dedicated help, consider coming to one of Kelly's Workshops:  Wednesdays from 4-6, Thursdays from 10-12.  $5 per class.

Buh bye.
