SGES Varsity Cross Country Team
received a Proclamation from the Lamar county Board of Commissioners
A Word from Dr. Collins

Dear SGES Family,

Tonight is the big show-Lion King, Jr.  Students in pre-kindergarten through middle school will perform on stage and lead us in the modern classic.  The students are excited about this opportunity and they always do an amazing job.

Last week, the Lamar County Board of Commissioners recognized the state champion cross country team at their monthly meeting.  The Commissioners passed a proclamation which set out the accomplishment that made the whole community proud.

It was an honor to recognize Susan Bartholomew for her years of service at St. George's on Monday.  The entire school community wishes her the very best.  Many of you have provided prospective families through the years, and we want to encourage you to consider other families.  Meredith Thacker has agreed to serve as our admissions director through the end of the school year.  Mrs. Thacker has been a teacher at SGES for ten years and is also a current parent.  If you have any questions about admissions, or you have a prospective family in mind, please contact Mrs. Thacker (mthacker@sges.org).

Next Saturday, March 5th, is the Get-Away-Gig.  We have several wonderful items to bid on and the evening is always a lot of fun.  Tickets may be purchased under the Get-Away-Gig tab at www.sges.org.  We hope you will attend this year's Gig.

See you tonight at the show,

Larry Collins
