Boots for Rainy Days
A Word from Dr. Collins

Dear SGES Family,

Today, we honored students in Lower, Middle, and High School who earned Headmaster and Honor Roll for the second quarter.  We appreciate the hard work that all of our students exhibit and we are proud of their commitment to their academics.

Also today, our 9th grade students presented their individual science fair projects.  The topics ranged from power from potatoes, gender roles, to brain development.  All of the ninth graders did an excellent job.  The three students who will represent us at the regional competition are Sarah Edwards, Sam Potter, and Molly Watson.

Next week, we will distribute student enrollment contracts for the 2016-2017 school year.  We honored to partner with our families and we are excited about the plans for next year and the years to come.  Please let me know if you have any questions about the re-enrollment process (lcollins@sges.org).

We hope you have a great weekend and you enjoy Monday's holiday.  I hope our students recognize the importance of speaking out and leading efforts when they recognize something is wrong.  Dr. King set a great example for all of us to use words, thoughts, and positive actions to bring about improvements.

Have a good weekend,

Larry Collins
