Dear SGES Family,

This weekend, we are participating in a state tournament for a new varsity sport. Garrett Parker and Drew Collins are representing St. George's in the state sporting clays GISA tournament in Savannah. We wish these two students well.

Today, four of our basketball teams will play Skipstone Academy in Griffin today. The middle school girls play at 4:00 pm followed by the middle school boys, junior varsity girls, and junior varsity boys. The games will be played at Mainstay Academy, 200 AZ Kelsey Ave., Griffin.

Our SGES Cheerleaders will represent our school in the Annual Griffin Christmas Parade tomorrow evening at 6:00. Come on out and support our school.

Please remember to bring in a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots. The deadline is Friday, December 11^th.

Also, next Friday, December 11^th, is a dress down day for Relay for Life. Students may donate $5.00 to Relay for Life and then dress down for the school day.

Exams begin Tuesday, December 15^th, and we want to encourage students to begin their preparation this weekend.

Classes will be dismissed for Christmas break at 11:30 am on Friday, December 18^th. There is no after school on Friday, December 18^th.

Pep Rally Fun

St. George's Episcopal School will

collect new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots this holiday season. We will have the boxes until December 7 for your donation. The toys collected remain in Spalding, Pike, Butts, Upson and Lamar counties.

In an effort to increase student coverage in the SGES yearbook, the yearbook staff is seeking photos from school family and friends for potential use in the 2015-2016 Lance and Shield. If you have photos from a school event, class party, field trip, or other school-related activity that you would like to submit for possible use in the yearbook, the staff would be most appreciative! You can submit photos directly to the Josten's Yearbook Avenue platform by downloading the free ReplayIt-by Jostens app, or, by clicking on the link below. We will be able to take submissions through the end of February, so please upload photos as often as you like.
