A Word from Dr. Collins

Dear SGES Families,

The 4^th and 5th grade did a great job hosting the "Color for a Cure" Fun Run. We had over 150 runners and everyone had fun and walked away loaded with "color." The students raised over $1,000 for Juvenile Diabetes Research Development.

This Sunday, May 3rd , is our annual Founders Day at the school beginning at 1:00 pm. The Early Childhood students will sing a few songs, and a couple of Lower and Middle School students will share a few experiences they have had throughout the last few years. Please bring your favorite side dish and enjoy the celebration of St. George's with us. The athletic banquet is Monday, May 4th at 6:00 pm. The awards ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm in Billy's Chapel and afterwards we will enjoy a meal together.

This upcoming Friday, May 8th is Field Day. Students should wear his or her House t-shirt and athletic shorts. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 am; however, we will have After School Care.
