A Word From Dr. Collins
Dear St. George's Family,
Enrollment contracts for next year were distributed this week. If you did not receive a contract please contact Mitzi Hammock (mhammock@sges.org) in the business office for a copy. Here are a couple of points on the contract:
- Current families have until Friday, February 13th to return executed contracts. This is particularly important for grades at full capacity.
- New student enrollment begins on Wednesday, February 18th
- A late fee is applied after Friday, March 13th
- Tuition increased $6 to $8 per student for ten month payment schedule
- Tuition deposit and contract is necessary to complete enrollment

The middle school basketball teams begin their tournament today at Rock Springs Christian Academy and both teams play New Christian Academy. The girls' game is at 3:00 pm and the boys play at 8:00 pm. If the teams win, they play again tomorrow at Rock Springs.
Also today, the area Wyldlife Club will meet at 5:00 pm at Journey Church in Griffin. Wyldife is the middle school version of YoungLife, and several of our current students and alumni have been very involved with these programs.
The deadline to sign up for elementary soccer is this Friday, January 30th. Register is available on Form Stack at www.sges.org.

7-8th grade boys' region basketball tournament - Friday, January 23rd at Rock Springs at 8:00 pm
February Lunch Orders Due by Monday, January 26th at 4:00 pm
3rd and 4th grade field trip - Wednesday, January 28th
5th grade field trip - Thursday, January 29th

The form to sign your student up for Spring Soccer is now on Formstack on the SGES website. We are hoping to once again have U-6, U,8 and U-10 teams. Practice days will most likely be on Mondays and Wednesdays afterschool until 4:15 p.m. and will begin the week of February 9. If your student is interested in playing soccer, please complete the form by Friday, January 30 at 3:00 p.m. Games will not begin until on or after March 7. If you are interested in coaching or assisting any of our teams, please let me know as soon as possible.
If your student played soccer in the Fall, he/she will remain on the same team, as student's team placement is based upon his/her age as of August 1, 2014.
Please note on the registration form that there are two fee acknowledgement options from which to choose: The fee is $55 if your student played in the Fall and does not need a SGES soccer jersey or the fee is $65 if your child did or did not play in the Fall and doesneed a new soccer jersey.
