A Word From Dr. Collins

Dear St. George's Family,

We welcomed back to campus over 45 alumni Tuesday night at our annual alumni night.  It was wonderful to watch the reunion of classmates, friends, faculty, and staff.  This was a very good turnout, especially with so many of our college students back at school.

Over the break, we have utilized the time out of class to do a few remodeling jobs on campus.  The classrooms closes to the gym are being updated for future 9th grade activities, and we will have an update and pictures on that project in the next few weeks.  The library is being completely remodeled from top to bottom.  The carpet is in and over the next few weeks the bookshelves will be installed.  We are very grateful for Niki Stanley, Whitney Wheaton, and the entire staff at Innvision for providing the carpet tiles.

Next week is Spirit week and each day students may dress up to support the Dragons with the following themes:

Monday, January 12th - PJ Day

Tuesday, January 13th - Decade Day

Wednesday, January 14th - Neon Day

Thursday, January 15th - Spirit Day

                Friday, January 16th- Twin Day

Second nine weeks report cards will be distributed Monday, January 12th and Honors Chapel will be Friday, January 16th, immediately following Celebration Chapel.

Enjoy the weekend,

Larry Collins
