Charity began working with Marc J. Victor, P.C. in May of 2009 as a paralegal before starting law school. While studying at law school, Charity transitioned into a law clerk at the firm helping on felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, appeals, civil and personal injury. Charity quickly became an integral part of the firm and finished her third year of law school with Rule 38 status allowing her to practice in a limited capacity handling her own load of misdemeanor cases and second chairing two felony trials.

Prior to receiving her bar card, Charity completed her first felony case with a jury trial that resulted in a not guilty verdict for a client charged with transporting over 90lbs of marijuana in her van. Charity's second felony case was the Elizabeth Johnson "Baby Gabriel" case. Charity was second chair on the trial with Marc Victor and crucial to the defense team obtaining a not guilty on the most serious charge in the case.
