All School: Pink Out Day-Praying for a Cure!
Thursday, October 13
Carmel Baptist Church, WEE School and Carmel Christian School are "Praying for a Cure"... Come and join us for Pink Out Day -Thursday, October 13! We will have a campus-wide "pink out" day as we honor those who have been affected by breast cancer.  Make sure to wear your PINK!

Guidelines for Pink Out Day for CCS Students: 
Please keep in mind that students are to dress modestly. Jeans, sandals, flip-flops and hats are approved for PINK OUT day. No pajama bottoms are allowed.  Shorts must be an appropriate school length (no higher than 2" above the knee).  If any clothing is deemed immodest, by the administration, parents will be called to bring appropriate school attire. 
Temporary Hair Coloring:  If students dye their hair pink, it needs to be streaks only and completely out of their hair by October 21.

NCAIS Honor Band
Congratulations to our Middle and High School students who were selected to participate in the NCAIS Honor Band on October 10-11 at UNCC. Middle School students are Sebastian Wood (alto sax), Cooper Clark and Ashtyn Keefer (clarinet),  Eva Vega, Emily Honbarger, Kendal Colson, Aubrey Keefer and Landyn Ferguson (flute), Phelps Keefer (trumpet) and Carter Dansford (trombone).

High students were selected from over 500 nominees representing twenty-five different schools. This is indeed an honor for them, their parents and the school. High School students representing Carmel Christian are Will Lynch (trumpet), Sam Chapman (tenor saxophone), Jessica Simmons (French horn), Nick Gerard (alto saxophone) and Alli Spies (flute). Students will perform on Tuesday evening at UNCC.  Congratulations CCS Honor Band students!

Join Carmel Christian Middle School students as they present "Dear Edwina Jr.," a light-hearted comedy! Dear Edwina Jr. follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly "Advice-a-Palooza." Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends through clever, catchy and poignant songs!
