Greetings!
Well summer is over and we are transitioning quickly into the fall programs. We had a great run of successful programs and many more enrolling into our programs.

This should be a great year as more products are added to our programs. We will also be selling our curriculums from our store and are excited to be able to offer this as an addition to our classes.

So catch the Gateways Learning wave and enter into greater possibilities this year.

In this issue we will look at:

Afterschool Fall Programs
Academically Gifted Programs
Afterschool Day Care Programs
The astounding athletic power of quadcopters

Thank you,
Andrew Lauman

Afterschool Day School Programs
Gateways has entered a partnership with L'atelier Exploration Studio, http://www.latelierexploration.com/,  in Burnaby and will be offering programs everyday in Burnaby.

We will be offering programs from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. We will also have a bus pick up from the local schools.

Mondays - LEGO Robotics, ages 6 to 9 and 7 to 12

Wednesdays - Digital Arts, ages 9 to 15
Thursdays - Video Game Designers, 7 to 10 and 9 to 14

Raffaello D'Andrea: The astounding athletic power of quadcopters

In a robot lab at TEDGlobal, Raffaello D'Andrea demos his flying quadcopters: robots that think like athletes, solving physical problems with algorithms that help them learn. In a series of nifty demos, D'Andrea show drones that play catch, balance and make decisions together -- and watch out for an I-want-this-now demo of Kinect-controlled quads.
