 The Petroleum Quality Institute of America (PQIA) is pleased to announce Parman Energy has joined PQIA's growing list of lubricant manufacturers, marketers, additive suppliers, and other supporters working to help assure the quality and integrity of motor oils, transmission fluids, and other lubricants in the market.
The name "Parman" has been synonymous with petroleum products in Nashville since the mid-1930s. Since that time, Parman Energy has grown to become one of the largest Chevron Lubricants marketers in the world, and annually ranks as a Chevron First Source Elite marketer. In addition, Parman's commercial and industrial fuel, DEF and equipment divisions also dominate the Southeast.

To date, PQIA has identified over 20 different brands of packaged motor oils and ATFs on retail shelves that can cause damage to car engines or transmissions. In addition, dozens more brands have been found that fail a claimed specification or are labeled with false or misleading claims.
