We're firmly into the 2nd quarter and we hope it was even more rewarding than last. In this month's edition, we want to highlight an article written by our Senior Analyst, Eric LeBlanc. He researched the historical path of interest rates and has written an analysis on where he believes they are heading, and how your agents can avoid the possibility of a significant rate increase.

What does history show us?
Based on historical trends, interest rates have generally been negatively correlated to changes in the unemployment rates. With unemployment at an all-time low since 2010, we anticipate the prime interest rate to rise as much as 5% within the next three years. Read the full article here

That's Allstate's Stand
Deep-voiced actor, Dennis Haysbert, has been Allstate's spokesman since 2003. Haysbert is best known for his portrayal of David Palmer, Americas first African-American president, on the hit TV series "24."  In his role as spokesman for Allstate, Haysbert officiated the coin toss prior to the 2007 Sugar Bowl between LSU and Notre Dame.

PPCLOAN secured fixed rate financing for 93% of the purchase price for a $3.05M earned premium agency. The remainder of the purchase price was met by the Buyer making a cash down payment for 7% of the purchase price. The 10 year loan term as well as the minimal cash injection allowed the buyer to be in a strong financial position to invest in his agency in the years to come.
