GIFT DONOR OF THE MONTH
On April 4th, over 80 Wells Fargo employees hosted an Easter community event for families on the La Mesita Campus. The numerous activities included tours of a Brinks armored truck, rides on the West Fargo Stagecoach, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. One 7-year-old exclaimed to her mom, "This is the first Easter Basket I have ever gotten!" Events like this make a tremendous impact in helping to create a sense of community for La Mesita residents and show how Wells Fargo supports healthy communities.
BECAUSE OF YOU
A New Leaf provides over 150,000 nights of shelter each year.
SHE BATTLED HER DEMONS
Roxanne K.
Roxanne has battled her demons. She is a stronger person now as she prepares to leave the East Valley Women's Shelter for her own apartment. Losing the love of her life brought her to binge drinking, DUI's, prison and homelessness.

Read Roxanne's extraordinary story that led her from a life of turmoil to A New Leaf's doors HERE.

This month we celebrate a wonderful partnership with Bashas' Family of Stores. During the month of May, Bashas', AJ's and Food City locations will be raising funds for the new La Mesita Shelter campaign that Trey and LeAnn Basha are co-chairing to support homeless families.

The campaign will include balloons, posters, pin-ups and promotional activities at the 120 Bashas', AJ's and Food City stores across Arizona. Customers will be encouraged to make a donation to A New Leaf with each purchase.

Simultaneously, we will receive promotion through media partners Arizona Foothills Magazine, KTAR News 92.3 FM, KEZ 99.9 FM and Azteca Phoenix TV.

I encourage you to shop at Bashas' this month (and every month) to support La Mesita Family Shelter.

With appreciation,
