Volunteer During the Weekend with a Sack Saturday!
Are you looking to get involved volunteering with DMARC, but can't find the time during your busy week? Sack Saturdays are a terrific way to involve entire groups including employee departments, Boy Scout, Girl Scouts, Kiwanis and youth groups.
Sack Saturday volunteers help gather donations from partnering Hy-Vee, Fareway, Price Chopper, and Cash Saver locations in Greater Des Moines. Encourage shoppers to purchase and donate Hunger Sacks and other food items, and garner cash donations.
Interested in getting a group together to volunteer for a Sack Saturday? Contact Red Barrel Coordinator John Robinson, jrobinson@dmarcunited.org or 515-277-6969 x18.
