Spring Into Action!
DMARC/MovetheFood and Central Iowa Shelter & Services are teaming up for Spring Into Action, an all-day donation drive on Monday, March 16, 2015.

From sunrise to sunset (7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.), volunteers will be lining Mulberry Street in front of DMARC and CISS to collect donations of food, clothing, personal items, and monetary donations. Donors can simply drive up, where parking meters will be hooded-off, and the volunteers will receive their donation.
Donations of food will go to the DMARC Food Pantry Network, which has 13 food pantries operating in Greater Des Moines, one of them located at Central Iowa Shelter & Services. Clothing donations and personal care items will be collected for CISS, and monetary donations will be split evenly between the two organizations.
How Can I Help?
We still need volunteers! Volunteers will be vital to the success of the Spring Into Action donation drive, and we still have open slots available. We are especially in need of volunteers from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Please consider donating some of your time to help DMARC and CISS reach their goal of $10,000 raised!

93.3 KIOA will be joining us on Monday for a remote radio spot. Be sure to tune in from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.! 
The Des Moines Radio Group will also be running the advertisement below on days preceding the event and on the day of Spring Into Action.
