eVoice - February 17, 2015

We have seen again this week - in the United States, in Libya, and in Denmark - that people of faith are being killed at least in part because of their faith. It may seem as if we are far removed from the carnage here in Des Moines, but we are not. All those who were attacked, all those who have died, are our brothers and sisters, regardless of belief. We may not be able to embrace the victims in any other way than in our hearts and our prayers, but we can embrace a different future.

When and where you can today, reach out to those of other faith traditions, who are truly all around you, and let them know that they are not alone. Let them know that, in this community, we all sit, stand, kneel, and pray, together.
