Prayer Service with Faith Leaders
During this time of the government shutdown many are suffering, and many more are at risk. However, no one is as vulnerable as the poor.
Religious leaders and concerned people of faith are invited to gather at Representative Tom Latham's office (2700 Grand Ave., Suite 109, Des Moines), on Tuesday, October 15th at 3:30 p.m. We will offer prayer, scripture, and a brief statement encouraging the congressman to remember the poor.
If you would like to participate, please contact Rev. Sarah Trone Garriott, at: 540-435-1753 or sarahtrone@hotmail.com.
Thank you.
