Local Teenager With A Big Heart |
When it came time for Jennifer Beaumont to participate in a community service project for high school she decided to organize her second pet food drive, this time to benefit Animal Rescue Coalition. This ambitious 17 year old is no stranger to animal rescue as she works part time at Bay Road Animal Hospital, alongside her mother, Lisa. She created posters that were displayed at both Bay Road Animal Hospital and The Corssing and placed multiple bins at the clinics. Jennifer is a senior at Sarasota High School and planning on attending vet school. Thank you Jennifer! Jennifer Beaumont, at ARC |
Best In Show Gala: Unconditional Love Breaks Records |
Animal Rescue Coalition thanks Co-Chairs Shelley Sarbey (pictured above, left) and Judith Ann Ragona (right) for the amazing success of our annual Best In Show Gala: Unconditional Love. Donation records were broken and a fabulous dinner was enjoyed by the guests attending the gala, at Michael's On East. Thank you to Michael Klauber, Auctioneer and the committee member who made this event the best ever!
The highlight of the evening occurred during the Mission Moment, when ARC's most important programs were highlighted. A very special thanks to Joanna Pace-Brackett and David Brackett (pictured above) for an extremely important match donation of $10,000 to kick-off the Mission Moment. Over $40,000 was raised during the Mission Moment.
