Saving Animal Lives Everyday

ARC works with Sarasota County Animal Services to rehabilitate injured stray animals and find them homes. The Emergency Medical Fund program began in 2003 and was a direct response to a plea for help for the many injured dogs and cats that are still adoptable. Previously, there were no resources for the county animal services to handle these cases and the animals would be euthanized.
With your help we were able to find a loving home for this victim who had severe mange. When he was brought to Sarasota County Animal Services, he was in poor condition with most of his hair missing. With the Emergency Medical Fund provided by ARC to Bay Road Animal Hospital, Dr. David Smith and Dr. Nan Rosenberry were able to treat his condition and find him a new loving home.

To support the Emergency Medical Fund, please mail your donation to the ARC office or call 941-957-1955.

Foster Homes Needed for Holidays

Want to give the gift of happiness? ARC is in need of foster homes for these two adorable cats! They are currently staying at ARC's office in Sarasota, but could use a loving family to foster them. If you are interested in giving either of these cats a home for the holidays please contact ARC at 941-957-1955.
