Classic French Films
At the Jacob Burns Film Center
Be sure to visit the Jacob Burns Film Center May 2-22 to enjoy their selection of classic french films.
This is an amazing program of all Classic French Films from 1950's and 1960's included are films Casque d'or by Jean Becker (who used to be Jean Renoir's assistant) with Simone Signoret, Henri-Geoges Clouzot's Le Salaire de la peur (The Wages of Fear) with Yves Montant, and Vadim's Dieu crea la femme starring Brigitte Bardot. Don't miss Voici le Temps des Assassins (Deadlier Than the Male) by Julien Duvivier starring French Icon, Jean Gabin - this film will be introduced by Delphine Selles-Alvarez, Curator of the CineSalon program at FIAF, French Institute Alliance Française, in NYC, who brilliantly introduced some of the films at our festival in Greenwich.
