Taste of France is back, this time in Bryant Park in the heart of New York City and Focus on French Cinema will be there too. This is the world's largest event dedicated to France. Exciting events and special daily programs explore the diversity of the French world: its Lifestyle, Technology, Beauty, Cuisine, Wine & Spirits, Tourism, Culture, Children, Fun and of course...Film!

French Movies at NYFF 9/27 - 10/13
French Cinema Honored Once Again
The New York Film Festival, held Sept. 27 - Oct. 13, will continue to showcase some of the best movies, actors and directors from France.
This year's selection includes:
La Vie d'Adèle, by Abdellatif Kechiche
L'Inconnu du lac, by Alain Guiraudie
Abus de faiblesse, by Catherine Breillat
Les Salauds, by Claire Denis
La Jalousie, by Philippe Garrel
Je m'appelle Hmmm, by Agnès B.
Le Dernier des injustes, by Claude Lanzmann
Also, Arnaud Desplechin will present his franco-american movie, Jimmy P., while Marion Cotillard co-stars in The Immigrant, by James Gray.
Some of these films were screened in Toronto when we were there and will be presented in the next newsletter.

Did you know?
 Renoir, which we presented at FFC 2013 in presence of director Gilles Bourdos and star Christa Theret, will represent France for the Oscars' Best Foreign Film selection process. Will it be nominated?
Agnes B., the French fashion designer who directed her first feature film
Je m'appelle Hmmm (which will be presented at NYFF), was a costume designer for Quentin Tarantino's
Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.
