Join us Tuesday, February 14th at the Floreano Riverside Convention Center for our Valentine's luncheon. We will be joined by over 70 students from the School No. 8 Chorus.
TUESDAY LUNCHEON HIGHLIGHTS
Congratulations to our New Member Class of 2016 - they hosted a terrific luncheon Tuesday with keynote speaker Roland Williams. The classes theme was "Rising Up Together" and they focused on celebrating diversity, unity and supporting equality for all persons.

2017-2018 Club Board Election
Pursuant to the Club Bylaws, the Club Nominating Committee recently recommended and the Club Board of Directors approved, the following Slate for the 2017-2018 Board of Directors' election.
 
Other Nominations for the 2017-2018 Board of Directors may come from the club membership-at-large. If you decide to nominate someone for the various club positions noted below, your nomination must receive 24 seconds in order to be placed on the ballot that will be mailed to the club members for voting purposes.
 
Please submit your nomination to Club Executive Director, Tracey Dreisbach, no later than Friday, February 17th at 4:00 p.m. Ballots will be mailed the week of February 20th.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered on Saturday at the scholars/mentors Foodlink Service Day. Along with other volunteers who came that morning, over 1,900 bags of groceries were put together for Foodlink's Backpack Program for at-risk children.

We have another Rotary Scholarship graduate, Johnathan graduated a semester early from All City High School (Rochester City School District) and will be attending GCC in the fall with the plans to complete the 2+2 program with the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Join us Wednesday, March 8th at 7:45 a.m.
in the Rotary Office Training Room for a breakfast meeting hosted by the B2B Committee. Guest speaker Ami Kassar, a Vistage member, is the founder and chief executive officer of Multifunding LLC, a Philadelphia-based consulting firm that specializes in helping business owners across the United States develop creative and cost-saving alternatives for their business debt needs and structure. 

Kassar has been involved in business finance for two decades. He has advised the White House, The Treasury Department and The Federal Reserve Bank on the state of the financing markets. He writes a weekly column for inc.com and is frequently quoted in the national press on various small business issues.

Kassar will discuss how business strategy and financing strategy are intertwined. Often CEO's get stuck because they don't understand where their business is in a life cycle, what is inhibiting growth, and the best possible financing strategies at the right time.
