TUESDAY LUNCHEON HIGHLIGHTS

Thank you Vice Chancellor T. Andrew Brown and Regent Wade Norwood for a great presentation on Tuesday - "Preparing New York's Students for a Better Tomorrow".

Congratulations Odis Jones from the Convention Center for being recognized by Rotarian Jim Brown Tuesday as our Bright Spot. All Rochester Rotarians know Odis as a fixture at the Convention Center when we arrive each Tuesday, for that here is an "Ode to Odis"...

A Holiday Bright Spot
As we approach the New Year
For one who greets us each week
With a smile and a cheer

Handshake or salute
He offers a greeting
As each of us comes
To our Rotary meeting

It's like Joe is still with us
As we arrive and depart
For he carries a mutual friend
In his heart

To Odis Jones we now say
Thank you-a lot
A Tootsie Roll for you
As a real
Bright Spot!

B2B Breakfast Meeting

Join us Wednesday, March 8th at 7:45 a.m.
i
n the Rotary Office Training Room for a breakfast meeting hosted by the B2B Committee. Guest speaker Ami Kassar, a Vistage member, is the founder and chief executive officer of Multifunding LLC, a Philadelphia-based consulting firm that specializes in helping business owners across the United States develop creative and cost-saving alternatives for their business debt needs and structure.

Kassar has been involved in business finance for two decades. He has advised the White House, The Treasury Department and The Federal Reserve Bank on the state of the financing markets. He writes a weekly column for inc.com and is frequently quoted in the national press on various small business issues.

Kassar will discuss how business strategy and financing strategy are intertwined. Often CEO's get stuck because they don't understand where their business is in a life cycle, what is inhibiting growth, and the best possible financing strategies at the right time.

Space is limited so we ask that you please register by clicking on the link below. The cost is $10 per person.
