Bright Spot Ellen Wagner
|
Tuesday's Tootsie Roll Bright Spot shines on Ellen Wagner. Ellen has been a member of Rochester Rotary since 2001. She engaged quickly and has been passionately involved in so many committees and activities there are too many to mention. She helped develop our mentoring program, many membership initiatives and still works with the School #8 Scholarship Program Committee mentoring one of our students.
Today she is being recognized not for her past accomplishments. Today we thank her for putting a spot light on our Treehouse, our Sunshine Campus and the Rochester Rotary Club for the world to see. Ellen's article is in this month's January addition of the Rotarian. Her writing impressed the editors enough to give her 2 full pages allowing Ellen to tell our story. This magazine goes to over 1.2 million Rotary members worldwide ......an accomplishment worthy of this week's Bright Spot. She was nominated by President Pete.
