Sunshine Camp Golf Invitational

What a beautiful day, Monday, at the annual Sunshine Camp Golf Invitational!

Thank you to all of our sponsors and golfers that helped make the event a great success. We started off the day with the ceremonial tee shot hit by President Pete Sarratori. Then golfers took off onto the course for a beautiful afternoon of golf and many food pit stops along the way!

The day ended with a reception and great dinner emceed by WBEE's Steve Hausmann, a touching story from camper parent Leena Isac thanking all those in attendance for their support of the Sunshine Campus and what we help to provide for her son Joshua at the Sunshine Campus.

If you sponsored a pin flag for the tournament they are available for pick up in the Rotary Office, contact Heather with any questions.

Thank you again to all the supporters of this event.

What's happening at the Sunshine Campus?

This week has been a wonderful ending to our summer! We have Heritage Kids and VOA's Camp HEROES. They have had a great week filled with carnivals, paddle boats, bounces houses and more! Wednesday Camp HEROES had Demo Day, we had the SWAT team, Mounted Patrol Unit, police cars, firetrucks, K9 Units & a Scuba boat in our pond. It was a great day!

This weekend we will host AutismUp's Family Night! They will enjoy all the perks of camp before our seasons end.  We are excited to have them on Friday.

The Friendship Committee needs your help!
Do you know of any Rotarians who may be ill!

One of the functions of the Friendship Committee is to visit Rotarians who are confined to their home, the hospital, a rehab unit or nursing home due to a sustained illness. We have found that they really appreciate a visit. But we need your help. We can only make contact with those Rotarians who have been brought to our attention. So, if you hear about someone who should be seen, please don't assume we know.

Please contact Myrna at 546-7435 x201 to convey the information.

Thank You
