Dr. Eliav is the Director of the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center and Vice Dean for Oral Health within its School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Eliav was previously the Chair of the Department of Diagnostic Sciences, the Director of the Center for Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain and Carmel Endowed Chair in Algesiology at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, part of Rutgers University (Previously University of Medicine and Dentistry at New Jersey).

At it's March 19th meeting, the Rochester Rotary Club Board accepted the Rotary Award Committee's recommendation for the 78th Rochester Rotary Award.  This year's recipient is James B. Isaac.  Jim was nominated by Bob Enright.

"Jim Isaac may best be identified in the Rochester region for his key role in building an iconic company, Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning.  For those who know him, however, including his fellow Rochester and Monroe County Rotarians, Jim Isaac has built his greater reputation on a selfless dedication to our community.

It's no exaggeration to say that nearly every day of his adult life, Jim Isaac helps an individual or organization in need.  That he does it at all is a monumental achievement, but everyone who meets Jim quickly learns that he executes his service with as much joy as he does purpose.  Jim's quick smile and calm manner have put more than a few people at ease with difficult situations - even before he gets to the task at hand."

Spring is here!  We need your help to get the Sunshine Campus up and running for the 2015 Season.

Bring your friends and family for a fun filled day Saturday, April 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Food and beverages will be provided.

Interact Project at District Assembly 

Interactors are doing a District Interact project and would like the help of Rotarians.  We are collecting small size tooth paste, tooth brushes, shampoos, conditioners, soap, washcloths, combs and brushes to make toiletry bags to be given to a women's shelter or kids in crisis (foster care).  These bags will be assembled at the District Assembly.  Our goal is 100 bags.  If your club could help collect these items and send them to the District Assembly or contact Mary Anne Cooper, District Chair at mcooper2@stny.rr.com.
