Fellowship Tuesday, this week's program of roundtable discussions, went very well. Some tables spent most of their time on membership, others on Business to Business connections and generating new ideas for the Eastern Cities Dinner. The feedback we gathered is invaluable and will help to shape and change several of our future initiatives. A complete report of the information gathered will be published soon but for now, here is a sampling of the ideas generated.
- More "Play Hookey" events
- More Kittleberger/Holy Childhood type Mtgs
- Links on other websites to RR site
- Ads - "Need an Accountant?"
- Advertise samples of Media Coverage
- Many names for potential members
- 1 Breakfast Meeting / Month
- Rochester Rotary iPhone app
- Hold a special "Guest Day"
- Put Boot Camp on as Tues. program
- Put Video Clips on Website
- Save all good ideas till PE Bob's year
Thanks to all the table facilitators: Fran Antonelli, Mark Armbruster, Pat Coakley, Rick Krempin, Scott Rasmussen and Ellen Wagner. Great job folks!

GOOD NEWS FLASH: The PGA Championship concessionaire Levy Restaurants has now officially selected Rochester Rotary and the Sunshine Campus as one of the major charities to provide volunteers for the August tournament at Oak Hill. This selection will mean a significant contribution to the Sunshine Campus from Levy in return for our working at the tournament.
Club VP Peter Sarratori is the Chair of our PGA Committee and Club VP Pat Stack will coordinate our volunteers. Please, if you have any possible interest in volunteering and have any friends and neighbors who want to be a part of this super fantastic experience, send an email to Myrna, myrna@rochesterrotary.org and get your name on the list for details as they become known. Tickets are really hard to get for the PGA, and this is a great way to get onto the course. We NEED your support to fulfill our commitment to Levy Restaurants and we NEED your support for the Sunshine Campus. Please send off that email to Myrna today.

Through the good graces of Past President Joe Floreano I was invited to attend the ceremony at the Convention Center where Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the third time on-time New York State Budget. It was a privilege to be among so many of our city, county and state leaders, and to realize that so many of them have graced our podium at Rochester Rotary and expressed fond memories of their time with us. The highlight for me was a chance to have a delightful conversation with Lt. Governor Bob Duffy who promised to come back to visit with us very soon.
Governor Andrew Cuomo's comments were on point, refreshing, and inspirational. I am proud to say that I like and support this man even though I am a Republican, gun toting, fiscal and social conservative. Many things in New York are looking better than they have in years.

This week's Tootsie Roll Bright Spot Award was presented to Pat Coakley. Pat was nominated by Dr. Carl Gerard and is now a two-time winner of this wonderful recognition for Service Above Self. As Chair of the School #8 Scholarship Committee Pat coordinates the coaches and mentors, the students, their records and their families, and the events and projects that the scholars attend. She is tireless in making sure all details are covered for this significant commitment Rochester Rotary has to the students at Roberto Clemente School # 8. And, in the spirit of Leadership by Example, Pat attends every function and provides rides to and from for scholars to ensure their participation. Congratulations Pat and Job Well Done!

Judge Johnny's Fines and Recognition Report:
- Attorney Karla Damico Wilsey volunteered a $25 fine in honor of her son who is graduating from Law School and, drum roll please, was just promoted to 1st Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. Semper Fidelis Karla and honors to your son!
- Past President Peter Kelderhouse volunteered a celebration fine of $50 in recognition of he and Anne's 48th wedding anniversary. Past President Don Alhart actually kicked in the extra $2 to round the amount up to a full $50. Don claimed that the Rotary Foundation has trouble dealing with odd lot numbers.
