Special note to long-time ballroom dancers and friends  

On August 31st there will also be a Celebration of Life for Mary Nelsen, a pillar of Ballroom and competition dancing here in Portland for many years.  Mary ran both the Oregon Fall Festival and City of Roses Competitions, as well as the Instep magazine.  

 A memorial with dancing and friends will be held at the Norse Hall from 5-9pm.
