International music tonight! Celebrating International Women's' Day!
International Women's Day is annually held on March 8 to celebrate women's achievements throughout history and across nations.It is an occasion to review how far they have come in their struggle for equality, peace and development. It is also an opportunity to unite, network and mobilize for meaningful change.
We've come a long way since the first International Women's Day more than 100 years ago, when women in America did not yet have the right to vote.
MEN:
In honor of the day give gifts of flowers to women!
WOMEN:
Be bold at the DanceWell Ballroom March 2nd dance!
In honor of the day, be pro-active by asking men to dance!
Our parties are open to the public, with 2 rooms to dance in and Linda plays a full mix of dance music for Ballroom, Latin, Swing (ECS & WCS), and Nightclub dances.
Singles and couples can expect to have plenty of fun as we mix and mingle.
