He will also be giving a presentation on April 27th at

3:00 p.m. at the Confederate Memorial Chapel in Richmond Virginia to celebrate the upcoming launch of  Confederate General William "Extra Billy" Smith: From Virginia's Statehouse to Gettysburg Scapegoat. This will be Mingus' second Savas Beatie title.   

 

The presentation will be approximately one hour in length and will cover Confederate General William Smith's life, politics, and Civil War service.

The Last Days of Stonewall Jackson: The Mortal Wounding of the Confederacy's Greatest Icon author, Chris Mackowski had the pleasure of meeting Stonewall Jackson's great-great-granddaughter, Corty Freeman. Mackowski
spoke on The Last Days of Stonewall Jackson to the North Carolina Civil War Roundtable in Burlington, NC--the oldest roundtable in the state--when the two met.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Author Nick Popaditch spoke at the Guide Dogs of America Cigar/Scotch Wine Fundraiser in Sylmar, CA, and signed copies of Once a Marine:An Iraq War Tank Commander's Inspirational Memoir of Combat, Courage, and Recovery afterwards.
