Key No. 7 Attributes of Entrepreneurial Communities
Building a strong and supportive community around entrepreneurs will help your local economy flourish. In most household systems, the family is supportive when someone has success. But when good times turn to bad, a strong family understands and fights through the emerging struggles. Entrepreneurial communities should work the same way; supportive of success and understanding failure. Be sure to also check out our overview of the Ten Keys to Economic Development Success.

The scale of this opportunity is massive and has the potential to move the United States to energy independence in the decades to come. Self-Employment: For some time, the Center has argued that one reason why America's job recovery rate is weak is more structural than cyclical. Employers are continuing to shed legacy full-time wage and salary employees. As the economy recovers, employers are turning to contractual relationship that is driving self-employment.
