2013 Development Opportunities
In November we shared with you our thought piece on Entrepreneur Development Opportunities in the New Post-Recession Economy. As we wrap up 2012, we would like to share our strategic thinking around our top five longer-term development opportunities for 2013 and beyond. In this paper, I address how agriculture, energy, manufacturing, immigration and the retiring Baby Boomer generation offer remarkable development opportunities for those communities and regions willing to focus on them. In our studied opinion, we believe these five areas are potential deal changers. Please take a look at this piece - Development Opportunities for 2013 and Beyond and share with us your reaction and your top deal changing items. As always send your comments to Don Macke at  don@e2mail.org.

Community Development Philanthropy: Community Development Philanthropy is all about increasing philanthropic giveback for the primary purpose of supporting initiatives to create a new generation of wealth in our communities.   We have produced a book on this topic Transfer of Wealth in Rural America -- Understanding the Potential, Realizing the Opportunity and Creating Wealth for the Future and we are engaging in exciting field work in Ohio, Colorado, Kansas and Texas to advance this promising development strategy.
