With Thanksgiving in the rear-view mirror and the holidays directly ahead, the Center wraps up a busy year in community development. This month's newsletter features a Toolkit that helps foundation leaders present Transfer of Wealth potential to the community.
2013 National TOW Webinar

How will communities and regions find the resources to support innovative, wealth-creating economic development strategies? TOW Book cover pageWe continue to believe that tapping into the tremendous Transfer of Wealth potential that exists in all communities is one way to generate locally controlled development resources. And, we see interest in understanding this potential in communities, large and small, across the country.

In 2013, the Center will be conducting a national webinar to introduce the Transfer of Wealth concept and to help community and regional leaders understand the opportunity that exists. We will draw on the Center's TOW research and the Toolkit for Foundation Leaders we've put together in partnership with the Council of Michigan Foundations. If you'd like to receive more information on the 2013 webinar when it becomes available, please email Ahmet Binerer at abinerer@e2mail.org.
